I have actually started a trial with a Windows host. I don't want to say who just yet, but things are looking good so far. It has only been a day, though. If I stick with them, I will write another post on who I chose. Like I said, this is for a friend who has less stringent requirements than I do. So I may have had chosen a different host for myself; not sure yet though. Hey Nicholas….nice to see you over here from BoS :-)

I'm hosted with CrystalTech. The support and server performance has been very good. I have consider switching to a Linux host in the past, but I can't live without SmarterStats, which comes with the hosting. The downside is that you are limited to one database file. So if you're using SQL Server and decide to install a WordPress blog, there will be an extra fee for the MySQL database. I have heard good things about DiscountASP from people I trust.
